Responsibilities: – Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a primary care or acute care setting – Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical history – Diagnose and treat various medical conditions – Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary – Order and interpret diagnostic tests – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans – Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and disease management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Requirements: – Medical degree from an accredited institution – Valid medical license in the state of practice – Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., family medicine, internal medicine) – Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices – Experience working in a medical office or clinical setting – Basic life support (BLS) certification – Ability to perform vital signs assessment and basic procedures – Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., eNextGen) Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Additional Information: Sign on bonus available Potential annual bonus The hours of operation to be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. (primary care clinic session), unless otherwise specified. A minimum of forty (40) hours per week in productive clinic time. Provider to accept nonscheduled clinic visits, such as patients referred through Urgent Care or by other Group Providers. Provider to arrive punctually for each outpatient office clinic shift. All medical records and all administrative records shall be completed within twenty-four (24) hours of the provision of service. All authorization referrals to be completed at the time of the patient visit. All patient call backs regarding prescription refills, laboratory results, etc., to be completed by the end of each day on which such information is received. Provider to perform full scope of his/her subspecialty skill, including, but not limited to, routine office gynecology, dermatology (including punch biopsies), etc. Provider to promote the goals of the company to support staff and to be a role model of the attributes of personalized patient care and quality medicine. Provider to cooperate fully with superiors and coworkers in accomplishing the goals, services, and business needs of the company. Provider will strive to achieve a five (5) STAR rating for Medicare and a four (4) STAR rating for HEDIS measures. any relevant certifications for consideration.
