Medical Doctor – Family Practitioner

Centro Medico Community Clinic is seeking a Board Certified Medical Doctor (Family Practice). Part-Time and Full-Time positions available. We are looking for attentive, conscientious candidates with training in diverse medical areas for the position of Family Doctor. The ideal candidate will treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice. Responsibilities: Interviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients’ injuries and illnesses Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests Prescribing medications and suggesting lifestyle changes Performing certain medical procedures Referring patients to specialty care as needed Administering immunizations Reviewing and maintaining patients’ medical histories and records and recording patients’ progress Providing documentation for insurance companies Educating and counseling patients and their families Providing preventative care Researching the latest treatments, innovations, advances, and trends in the medical industry Conducting or participating in outreach programs Requirements: Medical Degree. Completion of a three-year family practice residency. Training in medical areas such as pediatrics, surgery, neurology, psychiatry, internal medicine, gynecology and community medicine. Pass an American Board of Specialties examination to acquire board certification in Family Medicine. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Caring, attentive nature. Good interpersonal skills. Excellent quantitative skills.
