Mercy Aurora and Cassville, Missouri – Rural Emergency Medicine (Family Medicine Trained) Mercy Hospital is recruiting an emergency medicine physician for two critical-access hospitals located outside of Springfield in Aurora and Cassville, Missouri. Family medicine trained candidates are encouraged to apply. We are a hospital-employed group with no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one! Cassville is a beautiful recreational area and home to the popular Roaring River Missouri State Park. Mercy Hospital Aurora and Cassville: 25-bed, critical access hospital Annual ED volume of 10,000-13,000 patients Easy transfers (ground and air) to Mercy Hospital – Springfield, an 886-bed level I trauma center and tertiary catchment hospital for a four-state area Hospitalists available 24-hours per day for admissions No hospitalist work or inpatient rounding required Imaging services available – MRI, CT, Ultrasound 24/7 RT Basic emergency procedures are available including Glidescope and Ultrasound No trauma designation EPIC EMR across Mercy Partnership with nearby medical schools for teaching (if desired) Rated in the top 5% nationally for overall clinical excellence by Healthgrades Named one of the top 100 critical access hospitals in the country Mercy Emergency Medicine Offers: Schedule completed three months in advance for a great work/life balance 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month – flexible scheduling and blocks if desired – Part-Time also available $180-$200 per hour $50,000 signing bonus plus paid relocation Less than 2 patients per hour on average Guaranteed hours and hourly rate not dependent on production Immediate parity and equal rotation and scheduling among the group Supportive physician mentors, partners, and friends NP/PA coverage each day Comprehensive, day-one benefits package for the entire family Occurrence-based liability insurance Aurora and Cassville are rural communities that offer proximity to Springfield, Branson, and Joplin.
