FRONTLINE MEDICAL is currently seeking an ER Board-Certified Emergency, Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physicians who enjoy the practice of medicine. At FRONTLINE we have excellent support staff with experienced nurses and radiology technicians. This is a Contract position working 24 hour shifts, three to eight shifts per month depending on your availability out of our Dallas, TX office. Who are we? FRONTLINE MEDICAL is beyond urgent care and a state-of-the-art emergency room facility with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and emergency-trained registered nurses. With capabilities comparable to a hospital-based ER we are ready to treat emergencies large or small in adults, children and infants but without the wait. With a fully equipped lab, imaging department including a low-radiation CT, digital X-ray and bedside ultrasound your diagnosis and treatment will be prompt and efficient, exceeding the typical ER experience. Responsibilities: Quickly assess emergency patients and oversee the patients recovery Request medical tests, review results and establish & implement a treatment plan Develop effective patient care plans Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork Maintain the patientxe2x80x99s medical records Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment Maximize short term observation protocols Maintain a high level of accurate chart documentation Responsible for patient callbacks to ensure wellbeing and care Minimum Requirements: Physicians must be board certified board eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine. Minimum of a Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Medicine from an accredited institution is required, but a Masterxe2x80x99s degree is preferred A license to practice medicine Minimum of 1 year ER experience In-depth knowledge of current medical treatments and procedures Great attention to detail with excellent analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to think and act quickly in an ER environment Currently in good standing with the medical board Medical Specialty in Internal Medicine Compensation: The pay for this position is approximately $100+ per hour depending on skills and experience.
