The incoming faculty member will join a collegial team of Emergency Medicine physicians that are dedicated to providing extraordinary patient care to all . We are home to a well-established and fully accredited three-year emergency medicine residency program that offers 12 positions per year. The physician faculty for the Department of Emergency Medicine provide professional medical services at both Nebraska Medicine and Nebraska Medicine-Bellevue Medical Center. Nebraska Medicine is a nationally certified Level I Trauma Center, with a busy, high acuity ED serving nearly 65,000 patients annually, providing excellent physician and advanced practice provider coverage and 24/7 Emergency Medicine resident coverage. The community emergency department at Bellevue Medical Center is the second busiest ED in the state, with a census of over 35,000 visits annually. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine and possess excellent clinical, professional, and communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or has completed fellowship or advanced training.
