Seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Texas. Responsibilities: Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume setting Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during assigned shifts Work varying shifts as per schedule (6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 8p-6a) Engage in patient care at specialized units including Breast Imaging, The Heart Hospital at West Houston, and more Ensure compliance with certification requirements and state licensing standards Utilize the MediTech EMR system for accurate record-keeping Facility Information: 40,000 annual volume 2.2 Patients Per Hour (PPH) per provider on average Physician Shifts: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 8p-6a APP Shifts: 6a-6p, 10a-8p, 6p-6a Breast Imaging Diabetes Management Center 24/7 emergency care Physical therapy and rehabilitation services Senior care Womenxe2x80x99s care EMR: MediTech Qualifications: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Will consider Board Eligible within 5 years, but with 3 years or more, a detailed explanation for not being boarded is required Board Eligible (EM) candidates must have ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Active Texas license and DEA Clean malpractice/background
